Perhaps you’re already blushing when you read the title of this workshop? Or are you remembering your favorite smut scene from your last reading? Well, that’s what this writing workshop is all about!
At La Floraison Littéraire, I tackle absolutely every aspect of fiction writing. Sensuality and er*ticism are among them! Much more than scenes written and designed to satisfy your readers’ expectations, these moods and scenes have a real impact on the nature of your project, the psychology of your characters and your plot!
Once you’ve established this, you’ll understand that, even if your cheeks get hot when you read this type of excerpt, sensual writing has its legitimacy when it comes to precise, well-constructed writing projects. It may even be the most complex type of writing to incorporate into a project!
That’s why, in this workshop, we’ll look at the nature and objectives of this text/scene. We’ll also look at how to prepare smut scenes for a writing project, how to write them realistically and spicy, and above all how to know the different degrees of smut so you can adjust the temperature to suit your project and your own desires.
Of course, I’ll be sure to use excerpts from manuscripts to support our exchanges! 👀

Découvre le thème de ce nouvel atelier d’écriture : Écrire un roman – ou une scène – spicy (et ne pas en avoir honte) !
Peut-être rougis-tu déjà en lisant le titre de cet atelier ? Ou bien tu te remémores ta scène de smut favorite au sein de ta dernière lecture ? Eh bien c’est toute la thématique de cet atelier d’écriture !
Chez La Floraison Littéraire, j’aborde absolument tous les aspects de l’écriture de fiction. La sensualité et l’ér*tisme en font partie ! Bien plus que des scènes écrites et conçus pour assouvir les attentes de tes lecteur.ice.s, ces ambiances et ces scènes, ont un véritable impact sur la nature de ton projet, la psychologie de tes personnages et ton intrigue !
Ce constat établi, tu comprends alors que même si tes joues s’échauffent à la lecture de ce type d’extraits, l’écriture sensuelle a toute sa légitimité lors de projets d’écriture précis et bien construits. Elle est peut-être même, le type d’écriture la plus complexe à retranscrire dans un projet !
C’est pourquoi au sein de cet atelier nous évoquerons la nature et les objectifs de ces textes / scènes. Nous observons également plusieurs conseils pour préparer les scènes smut dans un projet d’écriture, les écrire de manière réaliste et spicy, et surtout connaître les différents degrés de smut pour te permettent d’ajuster la température selon ton projet et tes propres envies. Évidemment, je ne manquerai pas de m’appuyer sur des extraits de manuscrits pour appuyer nos échanges ! 👀

The workshop is open to a maximum of 8 people.
The workshop is open to English speakers, and will be conducted in spoken French, but written instructions will be in both English and French. You will also have the option of writing in English or French, as you prefer. At the end of the workshop you’ll leave with your writing exercises, your own texts and a bibliography based on the workshop theme.

L’atelier est ouvert à 8 personnes maximum.
L’atelier est ouvert aux personnes anglophones, il se déroulera en français oral mais les consignes écrites seront en anglais et en français. Vous aurez également la possibilité d’écrire en anglais ou en français selon vos préférences. A la fin de l’atelier vous repartirez avec vos exercices d’écriture, vos propres textes ainsi qu’une bibliographie selon la thématique de l’atelier.

The cost of the workshop is 30 euros, which includes the facilitation of the workshop by La Floraison Littéraire, the preparation of the workshop and the provision of writing materials. To support and thank the Bookshop for hosting the workshop, you will be asked to buy a drink during the workshop. 🙂
L’atelier est au prix de 30 euros, cela comprend l’animation de l’atelier par La Floraison Littéraire, la préparation en amont de celui-ci ainsi que la mise à disposition du matériel d’écriture. Afin de soutenir et remercier le Bookshop de leur accueil, il vous sera demandé de consommer une boisson durant l’atelier. 🙂

La Floraison Littéraire propose également des cours d’écriture annuels, des ateliers et des accompagnements individuels pour vous aider à finaliser votre roman ou projet d’écriture ! Toujours à la recherche de nouvelles connaissances, La Floraison Littéraire a suivi plusieurs cours auprès de l’éditrice américaine Tiffany Yates Martin.
